Green Certified
We are pleased to announce that we have expanded the environmental certification across our manufacturing network to include additional locations certified to Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) and Sustainable Forestry (SFI) Chain-of-Custody standards. We have also added Rainforest Alliance Chain-of-Custody certification at five locations.
Multi Packaging Solutions now operates the most extensive sustainable print and packaging network in the US with seven FSC Chain-of-Custody Certified facilities, five Rainforest Alliance Chain-of-Custody Certified facilities, and two Sustainable Forestry Initiative (SFI) Chain-of-Custody Certified facilities.
These additional certifications offer unparalleled options for print and packaging produced to international standards for sustainable forestry. Chain-of-Custody certification is our promise that products produced in our manufacturing network maintain the integrity of the FSC, SFI, and Rainforest Alliance labels. It ensures that controls are in place to prevent mixing of certified paper and paperboard with uncertified stocks.

Ink Selection
Our Digital printing process uses ElectroInks from Hewlett-Packard. They are FDA-compliant for food packaging. Additionally, ElectroInks do not contain any substances on the federal list of hazardous air pollutants under section 112 of the Federal Clean Air Act, or any chemicals on California’s Prop 65 list.
Most importantly, our HP Indigo digital printing process reduces ink and paper waste to very low levels relative to conventional printing processes.
